Still you die in the end

You save your money,
protect your children,
and write for future generationsYou care for peace,
and human rights,
you pay for cleaner air and less pollutionYou aim for kindness,
and strength in spirit,
you try to lie only when you have toYou strife for meaning,
laughter and purpose,
you’d spend your day spreading love and kindessAnd still you die in the end

HomerWell, crying isn't gonna bring him back ... unless your tears smell like dog food. So you can either sit there crying and eating can after can of dog food until your tears smell enough like dog food to make your dog come back or you can go out there and find your dog.
